The Ministry of Health Malaysia has put up a nice, concise guide to annual healthcare statistics/facts regarding healthcare status in Malaysia, e.g. top ten causes of admission, top ten causes of death, life expectancy, number of hospitals, number of doctors, doctor : population ratio etc for the last three year (2006, 2007 and 2008).
I have attached above the statistics of interest that I have extracted out for my coming presentation in the 13th International Conference of Emergency Medicine in Singapore in June 2010.
I have the charts very handy and useful.
