URL: http://www.cochrane.org/reviews/en/ab002245.html
This Cochrane review shows that to date, there is a lack of uniformity in terms of study designs and patients population. Data pooling could not be performed. At the current moment, it is inconclusive to give a strong recommendation to permissive hypotension.

This is one of the larger study done to look into early versus delayed fluid resuscitation in trauma, as compared to the study by Bickell et al. The methodology is very well described in the full text of the monograph.

This is a comprehensive European guideline on traumatic hemorrhage
